The Pharmacist’s Q&A
Share
Why does "Made in Italy" matter for my skin?
A: In Italy, and specifically in Bologna, skincare is viewed as an extension of health, not just fashion. Being "Made in Italy" means the product adheres to the world’s strictest safety standards (EU Cosmetics Regulation). As a pharmacist, I ensure our laboratory processes mimic the precision of compounding medicine—prioritizing stability, purity, and biocompatibility.
What is the biggest mistake you see in skincare routines?
A: Over-exfoliation. Many of my clients use high-percentage acids every single day. This destroys the acid mantle (the skin's natural protective barrier). In our Bologna pharmacy, we advocate for "Skin-Nurturing." We use lower, more frequent doses of actives combined with soothing Mediterranean lipids to achieve a glow without the inflammation.
Can I use your products if I have sensitive skin?
A: Absolutely. My formulations are tested against the rigorous "Pharmacopeia" standards. We focus on Biomimetic ingredients—substances that the skin recognizes as its own. This reduces the risk of rejection or redness, making the transition to our line very smooth for reactive skin types.
