Skin Cycling: The Dermatologist-Approved Weekly Routine
Share
What is Skin Cycling? Learn the 4-night routine that prevents irritation while maximizing the results of your exfoliants and retinoids.
The Philosophy of "Strategic Rest"
Coined by dermatologists, Skin Cycling is a 4-night rotation that prevents you from "nuking" your skin barrier by using too many actives at once.
The 4-Night Schedule
• Night 1: Exfoliate. Use a chemical exfoliant (AHA/BHA) to remove dead skin cells.
• Night 2: Retinoid. Apply your Vitamin A to freshly exfoliated (but dry!) skin.
• Night 3: Recovery. No actives. Focus on hydration, ceramides, and soothing oils.
• Night 4: Recovery. Repeat the hydration step to let the skin barrier reset.
• Night 5: Start over with Night 1.
Why it works: It provides the benefits of high-performance ingredients without the chronic inflammation often caused by daily use.
